Why true radiance begins when we stop fixing and start loving.
It is Valentine’s Day weekend. The world is painted in reds and pinks, celebrating romance and relationships. But amidst the flowers and the chocolates, there is one relationship that often gets forgotten.
The one you have with yourself.
When you look in the mirror in the morning, what is the first thing you say?
For years, my internal dialogue was harsh. I would immediately zoom in on the breakout, the fine line, or the texture. I treated my skin like a problem to be solved, rather than a living, breathing part of me that needed love & support.
As a nurse, I had endless compassion for my patients. But as a woman staring in the mirror? I had absolutely none for myself.
Stewardship vs. Vanity
We often feel guilty for wanting to prioritize our beauty. We worry it is “vain” or superficial.
But I want to offer you a different perspective this weekend: Caring for your skin is not vanity. It is stewardship.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your body is the vessel that carries you through this life—allowing you to hug your children, pursue your purpose, and serve others. When we neglect ourselves, we aren’t being “selfless.” We are simply running on empty.
True radiance doesn’t come from a harsh peel or a punishing routine. It comes from grace. It comes from looking at that reflection and saying, “I love you,” even before the skin clears.
Your Valentine’s Ritual
Tonight, I invite you to turn your skincare routine into a ritual of gratitude.
Instead of scrubbing away at your skin in frustration, touch it with kindness.
- Take a deep breath. Exhale the stress of the week.
- Apply your products slowly, with intention.
- Thank your body for all it did for you today.
Your skin hears everything. Speak life into it.
Evolving to Radiance
If you are ready to stop fighting your body and start working with it, I want to help you find that peace.
Real healing involves listening to the whispers of your hormones, your gut, and your spirit. It is why I wrote my guide, Evolve to Radiance. It is the manual I wish I had when I was struggling—a blueprint for holistic beauty that starts from within.
And for those ready to go deeper, my signature protocol, The Evolve Method, is designed to guide you through that transformation personally.
A Gift for Yourself
Make this Valentine’s Day the day you finally offer yourself grace. You are worthy of your own love.
I invite you to honor that worthiness by taking the next step. Whether you are ready to begin your healing journey at home today, or you are called to deeper work with me personally, I am here to guide you.
